As the Retail Council of Canada is poised to present their annual "Excellence in Retailing Awards" to one of their favourite corporations, the Maquila Solidarity Network will follow suit with our second annual Sweatshop

To register your opposition to sweatshop abuses, help choose the winners by visiting
the MSN website, and submit your electronic ballot. Ballots will be accepted up to midnight June 17.
To date, close to 1,000 Canadians and people in Hong Kong, Haiti, Australia, the USA and other countries have cast their votes online for the "Sweatshop Retailer of the Year." And thousands more are expected to take part.
Winners will be announced on June 18 in Toronto at the Sweatshop Awards Ceremony on June 18. Featuring street theatre, radical cheerleaders and
music!
