On the evening of 3 Oct., at the Boston Public Library, the Biotic Baking Brigade expressed their banana-cream-flavored contempt for
notorious liberal New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman …
During the book signing following Friedman’s airy speech, Agent
“Boston Creme” delivered a banana flavored delicacy to the
right side of the neoliberal cheerleader’s face.
The audience, apparently filled up on Thomas Friedman’s
fluffy opinions, had no room for the subtle dessert humor
creatively served on the face of the flaky pundit.
Friedman is well-known for promoting free market globalisation and
American supremacy (because America is just “good”!).
His essays
celebrating American magnanimity and generosity appear twice a week
in the New York Times newspaper.
He often forgets to mention the
American support for the dictatorial regimes he criticizes, as well
as the bitter poverty that has followed the implementation of his
beloved “free market” economic theories.
As Boston songwriter David Rovics says: “You can spend your life
hoping for pie in the sky/But the Baking Brigade delivers!”
